Green Meadows - Vagamon is an ECO FRIENDLY,tourism
project promoted by M/s. Hotels and Ayurvedic Resorts of Kerala
(P) Ltd. (HARTS), a company incorporated under the companies
act of 1956. Out of the 80 acres of virgin, scenic greenfield hills
owned by the promoters 25 acres is allocated for ‘Green Meadows
- Vagamon’,5 acres for sale to investors in plots of 10 cents
each with single or double room cottages and the remaining 50 acres
for establishment of an adventure Sports/Tourism Academy.The cottages
sold to individual investors will be leased back by the company
for tourists to stay on a monthly rent. All the other facilities
like Restaurant, Ayurvedic Centre, Conference Hall, Recreation facilities
etc. will be constructed by the company in the 25 acres of land.

The
project is at Uluppuni in Vagamon. About 80kms. east of Kottayam town
and 20km. north of Peerumedu and 110km. from Ernakulam. The site is
adjacent to the 2000 acre multicrore tourism project of the Kerala
Tourism Department. |

Three hour journey by road from Nedumbassery International
Airport, Kochi via Pala, Erattupetta. A new tourist highway connecting
Nedumbassery to Thekkady passes through Vagamon and the widening
of a 9km. stretch road from Moolamattam to Vagamon will reduce the
distance from Ernakulam to Vagamon to 95kms.
